A word that is rarely embraced by Mermaid Kiss, being surrounded by so many complicated issues. We are very aware that over the last few years we have been forced by circumstances to turn down numerous brilliant opportunities to play live but are very pleased to be able to say that this situation may well change in the not too distant future.
Accolades
Just wanted you to know that
Mermaid Kiss was recently the recipient of some honors from two programs over at
progrock.com radio. Both Epic Prog with The Lurker and Interstellar Overdrive
recently revealed their "Best of 2007" awards, and Mermaid Kiss did pretty
well!
Whats happening on the forums?
Conversations continue on the forums run by our friends on both sides of the pond. Recent conversations have included a discussion of the last five albums on your player, whether there is any such thing as a 'perfect' album and the extremely tedious link quiz!

Epic Prog named Etarlis the #6 album of the year in its annual Top 10 list, and awarded Kate the "Best Female Vocal Performance of the Year" award for the wonderful job she did on "Shadow Girl."
Interstellar Overdrive placed Etarlis even higher, at #5 in his annual Top 11 list (his goes to 11). And Joel picked Evelyn as his top female vocal performance of the year, featuring the track "The City of Clouds (Qway Lin).
