Walking With Ghosts  

I lie awake, embraced by sea, it comforts me.

Deep in the night, it’s so bizarre, there are no stars.

Blue sky ignites, a cloud of flame weeps burning rain.

Air without waves, no picture show, no radio.

And I’m walking with ghosts, I don’t feel so vulnerable,

Walking with ghosts, through this quiet earth.

This blinding sun, floating free, entrances me.

Dark ocean burns, cracks and quakes, evaporates.
