Kate Belcher. Eywood House. 26th June 2005. (5 photographs)
On a beautiful, warm day in the summer of 2005, Kate did a shoot with photographer Chris Walkden in the grounds of Eywood House, deep in the Herefordshire countryside near the Welsh border.
Evelyn. Harlech Beach. 10th July 2002 (12 photographs)
In the summer of 2002, we decided we'd like to try and make a video of a song called 'Hand In Hand' and we drove up to Snowdonia on a beautiful July morning to check out some possible locations. On this occasion the beach at Harlech won over the mountains. Here are some of the pictures from that reconnaissance mission. These are unaltered scans of the original photos taken by Jamie.
Evelyn. Harlech Beach. 24th-25th August 2002 (5 photographs)
We did the actual shoot for the 'Hand In Hand' video over the August Bank Holiday weekend in 2002. The weather was beautiful and the place was packed. Fortunately the beach at Harlech is massive and our chosen location amongst among the dunes was deserted, though all weekend we had curious bathers coming to see what we were doing. It was a very busy two days with little opportunity to take photos. These are unaltered scans of the original photos taken by Jamie.
Evelyn. A Whole New Look. Woodbrook, Kington, September 9th 2003. (6 photographs)
Just a fun dressing-up day (possibly influenced by Lisa Loeb :-) These were taken a couple of weeks before Evelyn left for Salford University to begin her degree. Photos taken by Jamie.
Evelyn. Stills from the 'Mermaid Kiss' video. Kington (8 photographs)
In the spring of 2003, we made our second video - this one for the song 'Mermaid KIss'. It was shot in the hall at Evelyn's alma mater, Lady Hawkins' School, Kington - incidently the same school Kate Belcher, Elly Goulding and actress Jessica Raine attended. Stills from the video became the basis for the artwork for 'The Mermaid KIss Album'
Photos sent to us for the 'American Images' project. (39 photos)
When we put out a request on our website and in the newsletter early in the project for photographs, stories, poems, lyrics, recollections etc relating to people's experiences of the United States, we had no idea just how many hundreds of photos we'd receive. Here are a selection - this gallery will continued to be updated, so check back regularly. Thank you to Joel Craig, Dave Latham, Rachel Schroeder, Raymond H. Riethmeier, Lydia, Taylor Rossi, Angela Herrera, Jenny Foxon, Andrew Holborn... more to come....
